About Our Client

The role of Assistant Brand Manager requires a beauty and cosmetics enthusiast, with experience in managing and building social media platforms and online digital presence. With excellent written skills and a talent for design and photography you will be required to support the development of the social media, PR and marketing strategy for the company.

Job Description

  • Implement and grow the following and engagement across all the company social media channels
  • Responsible for the development of all content for the company social and digital platforms
  • Execute events designed to meet defined objectives.
  • Coordinate 360° marketing tools development (brochures, grooming, flyers...) to achieve success of category objectives with sellout objectives.
  • Assist with the implementation and development of the company's overall marketing strategies and campaigns by developing an understanding of drivers of brand growth identifying key issues and opportunities
  • Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Research markets and study the competition
  • Create marketing tools, training's, presentations for sales force
  • Write and issue project briefs and other formal communications to move projects forward as needed
  • Daily, weekly, monthly report to the team to contribute to the growth of the company
  • Manage the Social Media calendar and liaise with the PR agency (to synchronise messaging)
  • To support the development of the company voice and personality
  • Completion of monthly activity and evaluation reports
  • Work with a wide range of media and use content applications for social media
  • Contribute ideas and research to the development of new products.
  • Manage usage and forecast of promotion materials and monitor monthly gifting budget
  • Travel to markets up to 4 times yearly as necessary
  • Assist marketing projects
  • Work closely with the marketing team to roll out Marketing Plans for our e-commerce, key retailers and pharmacies
  • Liaise with sales team to gain feedback and ensure marketing tools are used effectively
  • Be the Brand Guardian, ensuring all customer touch-points are luxury and meet brand guidelines
  • Evaluate and analyse activation events to make recommendation for continual improvement and feedback to the business
  • Participate in events
  • Support Managing Partner in the organisation on the workshops.
  • Support sales team in trunk shows and festivals.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate must be hardworking and passionate about the beauty industry. A switched on marketer who understands the brands audience, has a strong thirst for knowledge to keep ahead of new social trends and beauty gossip. A motivated and organised self-starter who is equally at ease working within a team. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role requires a candidate who is highly organised and able to plan and prioritise a busy and varied schedule.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study, marketing preferred
  • 3 year's experience, beauty industry preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated interest in brand strategy, brand marketing and 360 activation/development
  • Digitally savvy (Active in daily life and high knowledge in social beauty spaces)
  • Highly creative
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce
  • Excellent analytical, data analysis and numerical reasoning skills
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong strategic thinker, with developed organisational skills
  • Ability to foster team work at all levels of the organisation
  • Problem solver who can deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to multı-task in fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver's license, with reliable transportation and ability to drive within the territory
  • Must be willing to travel
