Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to ASC Izmir Supply Chain Manager.
- Leading the Planning Team.
- Evaluation of the mid/long term capacity plans and taking proper actions (including but not limited to overtime requirements) accordingly. Report any capacity bottlenecks to the line manager.
- Oversee the detailed production schedule for the short term.
- Compare actual production quantities vs planned production quantities and share the outcome with the related parties on a regular basis.
- Conduct regular meetings to keep track of the production schedules.
- Manage production planning activities considering the production efficiency (and any other operational constraint) as well as the customer requirements, thus finding the optimum level in between, with the ultimate aim to maximize production output & sales figures while minimizing the overall cost.
- Ensure the sales order confirmations provided to the customer service team in a timely manner (as per agreed internal KPIs) in order to inform the customer on time within the agreed lead times.
- Oversee the material planning activites and ensure effective run of MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) for raw materials by means of;

- Reviewing the result of periodic MRP runs with his/her team,
- Providing guidance to his/her team to solve problems and/or to improve efficiency of MRP process.
- Following up slow moving and obsolete materials (initiate write off process if necessary).
- Ensuring the flow of information mandatory for his/her subordinates to carry out daily business efficiently.
- Ensure effective communication with other departments (quality, production, product development, sales, customer service and etc.) for a smooth day to day process flow as well as ensuring smooth transition during phase in phase out of finished goods.
- Perform other tasks given by the line manager.
- Monitoring inventory levels for finished and semi-finished goods as well as raw materials, determining deviation from the target and ensuring that necessary action is taken to meet designated targets.
- Resolve both the production planning and the material planning issues and escalate unresolved issues to the management promptly.
- Acting as a key member in Supply Network Pillar.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree from engineering departments (preferably Industrial Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferably Packaging or Tobacco)
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Programs
- Knowledge of Excel Power BI
- Knowledge of SAP APO
- Excellent analytical reporting, team management, self driven and result oriented skills
- Ability to customer focused
- Ability to strategic mindset
