Our client is an industrial machinery manufacturing company seeking a Finance Leader who will be responsible for overseeing legal regulations related to tax procedures, providing support in global IFRS reporting, and possessing knowledge of cost accounting. The ideal candidate should have a background in a Big4 firm and prior experience in a global manufacturing environment.
Job Description
- Lead and follow all local tax accounting transactions
- Key to develop company accounting/ERP systems
- Responsible for accurately preparation of all tax declarations
- Assist to develop and communicate the business strategic plan and annual budget including providing strategic analysis and procedures
- Provide in depth analysis of manufacturing operations and financial reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of standard cost and inventory
- Drive improvement through use of key performance indicators
- Develop the management information required to respond effectively to business demands
- Ensure that company reports are analyzed and discussed with the local management team to identify key factors, and that appropriate key performance indicators are implemented
- Work closely with internal business partners to ensure they keep costs to a minimum, consistent with the aim of satisfying the overall business strategy
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Big4 experience is a must
- Manufacturing sector experience is a plus
- Fluent in English (written)
- Experience working with ERP systems in a business environment
- Experience developing accounting and financial systems and processes
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Professional business communication skills
