Job Description
Scorpios is looking of an experienced IT Manager to supervise the technological infrastructure of Scorpios Bodrum, ensuring its optimal performance. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, possess strong communication abilities, and have the skill to manage a team of IT professionals. This role is pivotal within the business, serving as a field expert who shapes decisions, aids future developments, and takes charge of operations.
Scorpios ecosystem includes
- POS Equipment (Printers, Service Stations, POS machines, etc.)
- Network (Ethernet, Wi-Fi)
- Hardware (Servers, PC, Laptop, Mac, Printers, etc.)
- CCTV (IP Camera, NVR)
- Online Services (Bookings, HR, CRM, ERP, etc)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our technological infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor the performance of our IT systems, including networks, servers, hardware, and software.
- Ensure that our IT infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and implement new technologies that can enhance our operations and improve productivity.
- Evaluate risk and develop risk mitigation processes (network recovery – backup processes)
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing training and mentorship to ensure their ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology-related issues.
- Assure legal compliance.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives.
Requirements
- English Knowledge in advanced level
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MSc will be considered as a plus
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, hardware, software, and security protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT infrastructure and security.
- Ability to manage a budget effectively and allocate resources strategically.
- Familiarity with POS Systems is desirable (Oracle Solutions)
- Hospitality industry experience is a considerable asset.
- Good command of English language is mandatory.
- European Union Nationality with available working permission
- The role is subject to 35% travel requirement.
