Administrative Assistant


 

Job Description:

  • Perform administrative, clerical duties and personal assistance for the Department Director.

  • Compose communications, letters, memos, assessment, surveys, etc.
  • Develop and prepare presentations as required.
  • Review incoming correspondence, action and/or dispatch material to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor incoming telephone calls and specialty related queries.
  • Operate and maintain filing system.
  • Coordinate all requirements and duties for Department Director and Managers.
  • Assist with mailing function for sales force in liaison with other administrative assistants and receptionist.
  • Assist in liaison with other administrative assistants the smooth running of the Department e.g. stationery, photocopiers, fax machine, phone duties etc.
  • Maintain administrative lists for marketing e.g. product information contact sources, personnel lists as required, to ensure up to date records/information are maintained.
  • Ensure work location accuracy of responsible areas.
  • Continue to maintain and update business knowledge by studying regularly product training materials and promotional and non-promotional materials.
  • Take responsibilities in company projects and adapt him/herself to the changing or new work conditions and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related fields,
  • 0-2 years of administrative assistant experience,
  • Strong analytical & strategic thinking & decision making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, planning and organization skills
  • Good level in written and spoken English
  • Good command of Office Programs
